About Us
My name is Mil.
I am a proud owner of two "beautifur", very much loved, Labradors... Sam & Max.
I used to find it difficult to find a groomer that groomed, and pampered, my dogs, with love and care, to the standard I was expecting... so I decided to learn to do it myself to meet my own expectations...
I am a City & Guilds qualified dog groomer, and offer a variety of grooming services and beauty treatments for your loved pups...., from a simple "wash, dry & brush" to a full groom, Pawdicure and Facials.
Nail trimming and ear cleaning are offered with every grooming session.
Having learnt (...the hard way) from my dog's long list of allergies... I only use natural, vegan and cruelty free grooming shampoos, conditioners and pampering products.
At Beauty Fur we will never use Drying Cabinets, your pups will always be hand dried only.
I will look after your pup and treat him like my own, while in my care!
CAT GROOMING
… and again... I always found it very difficult to find a cat groomer for my Persian Rosie... so I decided to learn how to groom my cat myself!
I trained in London with a multi award winnig tutor and now I am very happy to offer my new cat grooming service.
Cats are very different from dogs, so specific training is required to become a cat groomer.
Sometimes cats find it difficult to groom themselves, maybe because of age or illness, so regular grooming helps to maintain a healthy coat and a happy cat
Grooming and Covid 19
COVID Update
At present groomers are allowed to work however there are very strict guidelines...
Salon based groomers like myself: the groomer has to pick up and drop off dogs, this means we will have to thoroughly disinfect the car between each dog, to keep cross contamination down and to reduce the risk of spreading from household to household.
People are allowed to walk their dogs to a groomers for grooming, as part of daily excercise.
Once the dog is dropped (with leads and collars etc being taken home and not left at the studio) or collected there must be a non contact handover with appropriate PPE being used. We must use our own leads and collars, one set per dog, which would then need to be put in a bag and sealed and then cleaned at the end of each day. The dog will bathed first thing, and then groomed.
The work must be carried out wearing PPE not to risk the spread from fur to skin. There must then be a non contact handover in appropriate PPE.
Once the dog is handed back over, the salon must be totally cleaned and disinfected before the next dog is allowed in, to minimise the risk of spread from household to household.
